A unique megalithic site in Central Brittany
The jewel of the Landes du Liscuis is its three Neolithic covered alleys , over 6,000 years old. Still in very good condition, these megalithic tombs are exceptionally well preserved and are among the most impressive funerary sites in the region.
🔍 Each path is oriented differently, which testifies to ancient know-how and a probable link with solar or lunar cycles.
🌸 Remarkable biodiversity
Classified as a sensitive natural area , the moors are home to protected fauna and flora , typical of the acidic and windy environments of Central Brittany:
- Heathers in bloom at the end of summer,
- Gorse and ferns typical of granite soil,
- Rare butterflies and nesting birds .
Please respect the trail markers and stay on the paths to preserve this fragile ecosystem.
