The Pink Granite Coast and Ploumanac'h: a unique natural landscape in Brittany

image

Among the wonders to discover during your stay in Brittany, the Pink Granite Coast is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular. Located approximately XX minutes by car from our accommodation, it stretches between Perros-Guirec and Trégastel, with the highlight being the exceptional natural site of Ploumanac'h .

This coastline takes its name from the unique pinkish-orange color of its granite boulders, sculpted by winds and tides over millions of years. In Ploumanac'h , the rocks take on astonishing shapes—some reminiscent of Napoleon's hat, a rabbit, or even a bottle—to the delight of walkers and photographers.

The coastal path (GR34) offers an unforgettable walk along the coast, with breathtaking views of the turquoise sea, lighthouses, wild coves, and granite cliffs. The Mean Ruz lighthouse, perched on the rocks, is one of the most photographed in Brittany.

This natural site is accessible all year round, and is particularly magical at sunset, when the rocks turn pink in the golden light.
