Among the wonders to discover during your stay in Brittany, the Pink Granite Coast is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular. Located about 60 minutes by car from our accommodation, it stretches between Perros-Guirec and Trégastel, with the exceptional natural site of Ploumanac'h as its highlight.
This coastline takes its name from the unique pinkish-orange color of its granite blocks, sculpted by winds and tides over millions of years. In Ploumanac'h , the rocks take on astonishing shapes – some evoke Napoleon's hat, a rabbit, or even a bottle – much to the delight of walkers and photographers.
The coastal path (GR34) offers an unforgettable walk along the coast, with breathtaking views of the turquoise sea, lighthouses, secluded coves, and granite boulders. The Mean Ruz lighthouse, perched on the rocks, is one of the most photographed in Brittany.
This natural site is accessible all year round, and particularly magical at sunset, when the rocks turn pink under the golden light.
